About Me
I formerly lived out of an old cycle where I was trying to make life work the way I wanted. Believe something that isn’t true, feel it deeply but don’t show it to anyone, then take actions based on this belief. (Sounds like Adam & Eve!!!) My way didn’t work, and it even got worse, then I would try again and again.
Romans 12:2 reminds me:
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Satan wants us to live out of our own understanding instead of relying on the Holy Spirit within us moment by moment for life decisions. Through my personal Discipleship Counseling, I experienced healing from my past relationships, discovered my true identity in Christ, and found the courage to trust God with others as it was not my job to fix them.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education degree. I spent over 25 years teaching and working in Human Resources. While on staff at a local church working with the Celebrate Recovery Ministry and the Women’s Ministry, I attended a Grace Life Conference at Grace Ministries International in Marietta. It was at this conference that my eyes were opened to many spiritual truths about God, His love for His children and myself. Freedom in Christ was becoming real to me!!! I then completed the Advance Exchanged Life Pastoral Counseling Program through Simply Grace Ministries in Cumming, GA. My husband began to envision a discipleship counseling ministry in Gwinnett County and in June 2007 Healing Grace Ministries was formed. I became a Discipleship Counselor and was ordained as a Pastoral Counselor in 2009.
God revealed my purpose later in life, so don’t give up! I have seen His transformation in women and couples in amazing ways. Allowing Christ to work in you is the key. The Holy Spirit is the counselor, and He reveals so much to you outside of these sessions. I would love to walk beside you as you experience freedom in Christ for your life.
My dear husband, George, and I were married for 27 years. He passed away in 2021 after a 5-year battle with lung cancer. My son, his wife and my two grandsons live nearby. Spending time with my family and friends (who are family) is my favorite activity! My grandsons keep me laughing and I enjoy watching them grow and learn. They love to teach this grandma new technology!!!
